Entry requirements: students are required to complete, or show evidence of completion, the below units of competency:

  • CUADTM412 Promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of children in performing arts
  • CUADTM413 Apply safe dance teaching methods
  • CUADTM421 Teach basic dance techniques
  • CUADTM431 Design and conduct dance learning program
  • CUADTM441 Plan and conduct assessment activities for dance
  • CUAWHS405 Provide a safe performing arts environment for children
  • HLTAID011 Provide first aid.*

*this unit of competency must be completed through an external training organisation at the student’s own expense.
