ProtĂ©gĂ© Edge – Junior Teacher’s Course

Where dance passion meets purpose – The pathway to becoming a Dance Teacher

Are you a young dancer dreaming of guiding others, a parent looking to support your child’s growth and passion for dance, or a studio owner seeking to develop future leaders?

Protégé Edge is where that journey begins.

This exciting, structured course is designed for dancers aged 12 and older, offering the perfect first step toward becoming a confident, capable Assistant Dance Teacher, and all within the safe, supportive environment of the studio they already love.

Why Protégé Edge?

Protégé Edge is a course developed by industry professionals introducing the foundational skills of teaching, leadership, and mentorship. This engaging course is designed for students to gain practical teaching experience and valuable life skills that they will use both in and out of the studio.

The course was amazing, and I certainly learnt a lot from it! Thank you so much for guiding me through it!

Protégé Edge student

For studio owners – ProtĂ©gĂ© Edge strengthens your studio from within. This ready-to-implement course transforms students into capable Assistant Teachers, guiding them through communication, learning needs, safe dance practice, anatomy and much more!

Since introducing the Protégé Edge into our dance school we have noticed a shift for the better in our senior dancers that are doing the course. Their focus to detail and class structure is more attentive, they lead by example and assist others in all levels.

During the end of year concert and mid – year SoirĂ©e, they are more hands on and are learning to anticipate
what needs to be done, which is a great help.

The girls are proud to wear their assistant teacher uniforms, and the parents and younger dancers
acknowledge that they are our helper teachers.
