Enhance your dance studio programme with Musical Theatre
Learn to be confident teaching Musical Theatre
Our Musical Theatre workshop has been designed for those who are new to teaching or are already experienced teachers. You will learn specific skills and techniques which will enhance your dance studio programme and give you even more confidence to teach this genre.
Participants will be shown specific techniques of teaching Musical Theatre and the workshop will cover an overview of level 4, with an emphasis on levels 5 and 6. These levels have not been previously delivered in a seminar format.
The workshop will also include:
- Vocal: Activities and ideas on how to teach general vocal work and syllabus vocal work samples. Teachers will learn how to take risks with their students by singing for them and with them.
- Drama:Â Games and activities for the classroom along with ideas on how to teach parts of the syllabus relating to drama.
- Dance: Understanding and discussing the techniques that are required and learning samples of the syllabus dances.
This will culminate with a discussion around ideas on how to put together a stand out performance.

Cost: $80 (first teacher), $60 for additional teachers from same studio.
Your registration includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea along with some ATOD resources.
Whilst there will be note taking involved, attendees will be involved in the workshop in all areas. Comfortable attire is advisable. Please bring pens to note take.
