Prior to this role, he worked in the racing industry and using his skills, knowledge and experience, moved seamlessly across to the Not-for-Profit sector. In addition, Michael’s many years’ experience in working with government officials at all levels, high priority sponsors and donors, media representatives and partner organisations ensures that he will creates a strategic road map for the future direction of ATOD, our business and our members.  His broad business background, understanding of the functional requirements across the whole of our business, passion for Not-For-Profit and membership organisations and  strong business development skills ensures that he will assist our entire dance community to fly higher!

Michael’s overall responsibility is working alongside the President and Board of Directors to implement and deliver on the organisational strategy, to foster good governance, manage risk and deliver financial sustainability. However what he is really excited about is exploring and working collaboratively to discover new opportunities for ATOD that will grow and expand the business across Australia and beyond.

Please feel free to reach out to Michael through email at or via the office phone number.  He is very keen to connect with as many members, studio owners and student teachers as possible and wants to hear about everyone’s experiences with ATOD and how his appointment can add value to members as stakeholders of the company.  In normal circumstances, Michael would be travelling Australia, meeting members and engaging in a series of face-to-face meetings. However, in the COVID environment, we have to initially do things differently. While it is anticipated that travel restrictions across Australia will ease in the coming months, Michael is hopeful of booking some interstate travel in the new year and looks forward to meeting as many members as possible.
