Student Friend of ATOD Primary and Secondary- $30.00

To qualify for student Friend of ATOD students need to be a current student of an ATOD member. If students discontinue classes with a registered ATOD member or finish secondary school they can move to the Friends of ATOD category of membership.

Complimentary entrance to this category is given to students who are registered in the ATOD cert III teachers course or receive a bursary as a secondary school student. Please fill in the form to receive your Student Friend of ATOD card.

                  Junior Teacher - $40.00

                  On passing the Junior Teacher Diploma, (see requirements for Junior Teacher Diploma Examinations) the candidate will be eligible to join as a Junior Teacher of ATOD and will receive, with the Junior Teacher Diploma Certificate, a membership subscription form.

                  Friend of ATOD - $50.00

                  This can include tertiary students, parents of students, grandparents, people in the industry, retired ATOD teachers, teachers from other organisations and former students of ATOD no longer attending classes.

                  Complimentary entry to this category is given to Scholarship Sponsors (members of the elite A-list) who are not members of the company and to students who receive a bursary as a tertiary student. Please fill in the form attached below to receive your Friend of ATOD card and gift.

                  Affiliate Teacher - $135.00

                  An applicant for Affiliate Teacher Status is not a member by examination ie. one who has not passed the required ATOD technical and Associate Teaching Diploma examinations. The applicant must submit a letter of application with a resume and a letter of recommendation from a person in the dance profession, to the Board of Directors of ATOD Ltd. The Company Secretary will then inform the candidate if their application has been successful, where upon the applicant should then pay the full membership fee.

                  Probationary Membership - $135.00

                  There is no application process for Probationary Membership and the membership period commences upon receipt of completed membership form and fee (attached below). The Probationary membership is effective for 12 months and prior to the expiration of that period, you would be required to apply for Affiliate Membership to continue the benefits of ATOD membership.

                  Should successful application be made within or prior to the 12 months Probationary period expiring the fee already paid will be transferred over to the Affiliate Membership for the duration of the Probationary period.

                  Associate Teacher - $110.00

                  On passing the Associate Teacher Diploma, (see requirements for Associate Teacher Diploma Examinations) the candidate will be eligible to join as a Associate Teacher of ATOD and will receive, with the Associate Teacher Diploma Certificate, a membership subscription form.

                   

                  What do Associate Teachers receive for their membership?

                  • The ability to enter students for examinations, competitions and scholarships at all levels
